Here's one I got many years ago in Antelope Canyon which is in Northern Arizona. It's a really cool place! And if you ever get a chance to check it out, I suggest it. It is kind of expensive, but if you like nature and are a photographer.. It's totally worth it!
I spent a lot of time exploring around the caves and have good memories in there, just.. I suggest trying to avoid the monsoon season or if it's raining a lot whatever time of year cause they can flood and quite a few people have died getting stuck down in there when the water comes through.. So.. Like much in life it has some risks and dangers, but it is an amazing place and I'm glad I got to check it out!

This was filmed on an old 35mm rebel camera.

I love the way the shadows play with the 'waves' of the canyon. Beautiful shot!

Thanks man! Yeah.. It's an interesting light show, however.. It doesn't look quite like that in person! Lol. In order to get those colors you have to take a longer exposure which also makes the shadows a lot deeper as well. If you take a long enough shot, the reds start to turn into purples and blues, it's really kind of interesting if you think about it.

Well then it just shows your skill as a photographer. :)

Lol. Thanks for the nice words. :) Though I don't think I'm that good, I'm just lucky! And good at being in the right place at the right time. I like to think we're all photographers, it's just the art of seeing. Even if we don't necessarily use a camera to do it and share it with others.

Wow, great shot. I was there with my family when I was still young. Just beautiful.

Thank you. That's cool you've been there. Did you go to both the upper and lower canyons? They are right across the street from each other, one you can walk in yourself the other they have to drive you in. At least that's how it used to be, I assume it's still like that. Definitely a beautiful place!

Yes, we visited both. My step-dad gladly brought me to all these fantastic places and he was well informed and organized so we didn't miss many great spots. I was only 9 back then, so I don't remember everything all too clearly. One thing I know for sure, though: I will be back to lots of the National Parks on my next vacation to the USA.
Fun fact: I prefered Grand Teton NP over Yellowstone and I just recently realized that the landscape in GT NP is comparable to some parts of the German and Austiran Alps. Yellowstone was great, too, but the sheer amounts of tourists put me off a little.

I'm gonna write an article soon about Antelope Canyon! It's truly an incredible place!! Thanks for sharing!! :)
