Saint Petersburg 11: The bronze Horseman

in #photography6 years ago

Hello #Steemians, good evening.

Please find below another entry of mine of one of the bronze Horseman statue in Saint Petersburg (Russia). This statue is to honor its formal (and one of the most important) Tzars of old mother Russia. His name is Peter, aka Peter the Great. He got this title, after expanding Russia's empire on the 18th century, and also because he was responsible for the cultural blooming in Russia in those days. Many of the palaces, monuments and great landmarks were built during his ruling period.

I hope you do as well... Saint Petersburg is a beautiful city... full of culture!!! You'll love it!

Just beware of the cold weather, and never drink tap water there.... drink only spring water (preferrably bottled ones).
