Public transport in the capital is low, suffering

Public transport has been stopped yesterday due to the safety precaution, but the traffic is very limited. Several buses were found in the capital since morning (7th August).

The people in the workplace have suffered severe sufferings. Hundreds of people were seen standing beside the road at various bus stations in the capital. After a while, two or two cars are filled with them. People are going to the destination by going for a walk.

Earlier, the workers and workers' organizations closed the vehicles in protest of the general student movements to stop the public unrest and demand justice for the death of the classmate. After a few days of the strike, the Road Transport Owners Association Secretary General Khandaker Enayet Ullah announced the movement of the traffic on Monday (August 6).

It may be mentioned that on July 29, the driver of Jabal Noor Paribahan handed over the bus to the waiting students on the slopes of the flyover in Kurmitola in the capital. In this, two students of Shahid Ramiz Uddin Cantonment College were killed. About 15 people were injured. Immediately after this incident, the students left the classroom demanding punishment for the culprits and safe roads.

They started checking the license of different vehicles standing on the road to bring discipline on the road. Their movement raises unthinkable response. After the vandalization of vehicles in some places, the movement of the long distance traffic including the capital was stopped.
