Very nice! Down here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast we call the Lonicera, Honeysuckle for the sweet nectar that it contains. It's is quite sweet and it does indeed taste like honey.

Absolutely! As a child we would pick and pull the nectar out and enjoy the droplet. You should try it. In looking to explain the way to remove the nectar I found this with great picture to show you how.
