10 . The Dead Sea, in the Middle East

Located between Israel, Jordan and the West Bank, this lake is the most salty in the world. It covers about 810 km ², and its salinity rate allows the swimmers to float there! However, no fish or algae can survive, hence its name "dead sea".

9 . The island of Bora-Bora, French Polynesia

Bora Bora extends over several small islets, which do not measure more than 40 km² in total. Bora-Bora is formed around an extinct volcano, culminating at 727 m.

Its place in this ranking is not surprising, because this region is often considered the most heavenly in the world!

8 . The Nile in Africa

This river is about 6,500 km long and the longest in the world, with the Amazon River. A must-see for tourists traveling to Egypt, a crossing on the Nile offers magnificent scenery.

The two branches of the Nile (white and blue) meet in Sudan, to throw themselves into the Mediterranean. In total, the Nile crosses eight countries!
