Sometimes you just have to sit and watch Nature Amaze you.
Just sitting by the sea among the lava rocks, each picture slightly different, as the waves wash over the rock at sea.
Nature knows how to use the salt water to grow plants and add color.
A glance further up the coast, and enjoying the view.
Then a serge of water covers the rock completely.
A look to the right towards the Sport Hotel of La Santa and its time to leave for the walk back to the car.
On the way home we stop at our local Bar for a quick drink as the late evening sun drops behind us, Bathing the white houses of Tinajo with its powerful light.

Howdy there andyjem! wow, where is this island at? I don't remember ever seeing a black coastline or beach like that before, very interesting and all the photos are beautiful!
Thanks Janton... We live on Lanzarote one of the islands in the Archipelago of the Canaries currently Ruled by Spain... It lies just of the west coast of Africa adjacent to Morocco in the Atlantic ocean. We have many different types of coast line from black volcanc rock...black sand yellow sand pebbles and white sand that resembles salt. It is truly a pardise Island. Thanks for looking in. 😎

The black rock looks like Lava rock. So rugged.
Thats exactly what they are Stephen.. Lanzarote is a Volcanic Island... There are many places where the lava flowed into the sea during the last eruptions. This is one of many such scenes. 😎
