Apakah kalian memiliki pohon jeruk lemon di halaman rumah? Jika ada, maka coba perhatikan di antara daun-daun dan batang pohon biasa ada penghuninya. Siapa lagi kalau bukan ulat keket, ia senang melahap daun hingga bolong-bolong jadinya.

Ulat ini tidak hanya ditemukan di daun jeruk lemon, namun juga pada daun jeruk lainnya seperti Jeruk bali, jeruk purut, jeruk nipis ataupun daun srikaya yang masih muda. Ulat ini nantinya akan bermetamorfosis menjadi kupu-kupu warna hitam dengan garis merah di sayapnya yang dikenal dengan nama 'papilio Memnon.'

Saya menemukan ulat ini saat hendak memanen jeruk lemon. Sekilas warnanya terlihat sama dengan batang maupun daun jeruk. Ulat ini tidak berbulu seperti kebanyakan ulat lain. jadi apabila sahabat steemians ingin menyentuh atau memegangnya dijamin aman dan tidak terasa gatal.
