📷COMBINATION PHOTOGRAPHY WEEK 18: Emma Gray's Forest Lizard (Calotes emma) aka Forest Crested Lizard 📷
This little beauty came visit our garden the other day. I just love these lizards. Though they will run for their life when you come to close - and they do this is in the funniest way - they usually don't mind being the star of your pictures. And this one was no exception.
Emma Gray's forest lizard (Calotes emma), aka Forest Crested Lizard, is an agamid lizard commonly found in China, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. It thanks its name to English conchologist Maria Emma Gray, the wife of John Edward Gray, or the describer of this species.
Let's take a closer look at this little, friendly creature and my entry for @papa-pepper's combination photography contest
Though I scared him a few times, he kept coming back, allowing me to take pictures from different angles.
Thanks my lovely friend and hopefully we'll meet again!
Thanks for reading! Until next time

Cool. They are such a funny and great addition to your garden. They always make me laugh. Once we had one balancing on the washing line.
The third photo looks like he is resting his arm on the top of that pole and relaxing. Cute!
