Find happiness in small things! Smile every day
Dear friends,
I want to tell you about a festival where I was yesterday, called Lolly Boom. It is a family festival that aims spending as much time as possible in nature and beautiful moments with the important persons in your life and, most importantly, reliveing the most beautiful stage, childhood.
Amongst the scenes which seems to be out from the stories, children enjoy creative workshops, theater performances, magic, dance, concerts and a a lot of surprises.
When we were kids, life was simpler, wasn't it? I think I'm not the only one who think that. The truth is that life was, is, and will always be simple, but we complicate it. To enjoy simple things is a guarantee of happiness.
We've got to do the things mechanically, we wake up in the morning and without realizing it, and without feeling we get to work, we get back home tired, we get to bed. The same routine for tomorrow again. We desire happiness without realizing that it comes from feelings.
A sunset or sunrise, the taste of the morning coffee, a smile, a walk on a sunny day in the park, reading a captivating book... these are just few simple things that cost nothing, but being too burdened by worries, we forget how to enjoy them.
Children give us the most valuable lessons of courage, love and purity of soul. Let's smile every day without a good reason, just as kids do!
