A candle, a wish | Photo Series

On July 13 of last year 2017 a night march had been called to honor the young people who had perished in the days that took away protests, I remember that that day had rained very early and did not end until night. I have been told that rain means purity, that it cleans but for a strange reason it coincides with moments of pain and sadness, perhaps the pain was of such magnitude that even the heavens could feel it. This small photographic series was thanks to the photos taken by me that day with a Nikon D3000, where I wanted to represent each candle a wish, for this on my account on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/alesstorrb/ I was collecting Anonymously different desires by my followers, which was a wish per person for each candle. I want to thank everyone who participated sharing their wishes for this series.

"I want the guard to return my camera"

"I hope that the damage after socialism is not so difficult to repair or that many people are irreparably affected by this current government and that there is always humility and those feelings that make us human to progress better, as a new beginning"

Finally I wanted to leave my desire.

I wish that hope never ends, to maintain the faith among Venezuelans and in ourselves. Let light rise from the darkness for a new dawn. Faith is the last thing that is lost, have faith in your hearts.
