The Plaza de la Libertad Electoral is one of the most symbolic squares of Costa Rican democracy. The plaza is located in front of one of the most important parks in Costa Rica The National Park. We can find around it some of the most symbolic buildings in the city for its architectural and cultural value, including the Supreme Electoral Tribunal and the Banco Popular.

La plaza se encuentra en frente de uno de los parques más importantes de Costa Rica El Parque Nacional. The Plaza de la Libertad Electoral has a semicircular shape that houses one of the works of the sculptor José Sancho Benito, the Epitome of Flight, which is composed of pink granite.
