Pretty Snow - Christiansburg, Virginia USA
Gorgeous morning to wake up to 10-12 inches of snow in Christiansburg, Virginia (USA). For geographical context that's just southwest of Roanoke and in the same county as Blacksburg and Virginia Tech. Fortunately for us its just pretty with only a few small tree limbs down as damage. A lot of people have trees and large limbs down and many people in the region are without power today. This storm was very strange for our region. It hit a narrow corridor of southwest Virginia that was maybe 100 miles wide running north to south. From about Wythe County to Montgomery County. If you were outside of that, you got little or nothing. Inside of it, it dropped about a foot of wet navy snow overnight.
Wow! This is a beautiful shot. I love it.
Thanks! I like our little mini street lamp with its tall white hat.
