Tangua haor Nature has grown in the vast swamp in nature, in nature. And his beauty, not seeing in sight, can not be understood properly. Tangua haor has been developed on the northeast side of Bangladesh, in the 18 mouzas of Tahirpur and Dharmapasha upazila of Sunamganj district, with a total of 9,772 hectares of 51 jammahals. It is one of the largest wetlands in Bangladesh. In the monsoon, the haor area was about 20 thousand acres.

This tangue haor in the foothills of India's Meghalaya. About 30 fountains of water from the Meghalaya are directly mixed in haor's water. Saricari hijal-curchosvite, birds of kalakakali ever face tangua haor. It is a huge habitat of fish, birds and other aquatic animals. Due to biodiversity and beauty, the reputation of Tanguar Haor is not only Sunamganj or Bangladesh but also internationally recognized. A haor is rich in biodiversity, it is called the second Ramsar region of Bangladesh. Sundarbans is the first to be caught. (The meeting of the first wetland land was held in Ramsar region of Iran, from here the name comes.)

Tangua haor is seen in the entrance of the Hissaragara Surisari. It looks like these trees stand to greet the guests coming to haor. When entering the main haor, if you look at the bottom of the haor water, then there are all kinds of herbivorous aquatic plants. It would seem to be a great green kingdom under the water. Tangua haor will also find cork, baroon, waterfall, heelanga, bantulasi, nalkhagara, banlua and chalia variety plants.

One of the biodiversity of this haor is the variety of birds. There are about 51 species of birds roaming around here. Apart from this, living species of six species of mammals, several species of snakes, some rare amphibians, six species of turtles, and seven species of lizards have been rich in this haor biodiversity.
