Wandering around the streets of Rishikesh!
After the successful completion of Roopkund trek, we decided to spend 2 days in Rishikesh. I had been there in 2011 on a family trip as well. About half our friends left for their homes and we bid our goodbyes to them. It was amazing that we bonded so well with them in such a short time.
@rovingman took the lead again and arranged our accommodation. We went to the river banks after freshening up and had some delicious food.
The Beatles cafe was one of the main reasons why I wanted to revisit Rishikesh!
The climb to our accommodation felt like another trek and we definitely scowled the entire way!
A great way of being welcomed by nature! Don't you think?
Spotted this beautiful graffiti while strolling around.
@komal finally found the beatles cafe! Yayy! I loved the interiors of this cafe as it had some great items :) I took a pano view of the Ganga river from the balcony of the cafe.
We came across an artist where we got to see some cool portraits!
As I mentioned, we left no excuse for keeping ourselves full at any given time! :D
A yoga mat made of cork!
We were looking for some tattoo shops but instead found this really cool store which had some amazing instruments. Does anybody know the name of the musical instrument in the video?
@komal, @footlooselatika and @rovingman with a few others took a dip in the river for fun and I had my share by shooting them :)
We had to catch our bus to Jaipur by evening but the rains stopped us for a bit. None of us wanted the trip to end but it had to. It was gonna be a long journey for us and we had some snacks before we caught our bus. We were surely bummed out by night and actually ended up sleeping the whole night. But it was a week full of thrill, excitement and adventure and the memories are now with us for a lifetime... <3
Keep Creating
Lots Of Love <3
