Spinach Artichoke Dip Mozzarella Sticks

Ingredients:

— 2 tbsp butter
— 1 clove garlic, minced
— 8oz package cream cheese, such as Philadelphia
— 2 cups shredded mozzarella
— 1 tsp salt
— 1 tsp pepper
— ½ cup chopped artichoke hearts
— 1 ½ cups chopped spinach
— 1 cup flour
— 4 eggs, whisked
— 1 cup panto breadcrumbs
— Vegetable oil for frying
— Marinara sauce for dipping

Directions:

1- In a pan over low-medium heat, melt the butter. Add garlic and saute for 1 minute.
2- Add the cream cheese and mozzarella and stir until cheeses have melted. Add the salt, pepper, artichoke hearts and spinach and stir until the spinach has wilted.
3- Spread the mixture on a greased baking sheet to a half-inch thickness. Freeze for an hour.
4- Slice the frozen mixture into sticks.
5- Dip each stick first into flour, then egg, then bread crumbs.
6- Heat vegetable oil to 350*F. Fry sticks until golden and crisp — about 2-3 minutes.
7- Serve with marinara sauce.
