Where did you see these ie. what lake?
From your previous post of a photograph of a dragonfly , you said it was near a pond, or was it a lake, or was this the same place?

I took these pictures on lake Windermere in the Lake District. Thanks mike
Thanks, I used to work at the Fresh Water Biological Association at Far Sawrey, Lake Windernere, many years ago.
Pay was diabolical, but the environment made up for it.
