...llega y no es una mujer, aunque podría serlo,    
no la quieres pero se queda
    
como un gato que huye de las tormentas de verano    
afuera todos ríen, chapotean bajo esa mezcla de
lluvia-y-sol    

ella está aquí, contigo
arropada en tu estómago
exigiendo tu calor porque afuera hace frío.

like a cat that flees from summer storms
outside they all laugh, they splash under that mixture of
rain-and-sun
she is here, with you
wrapped in your stomach
demanding your heat because there is cold outside.
