My grumpy cat - Rescue, Disease, Cats Vs Dogs?
This is Sara, my 9 year old half-breed cat
Most people think that cats hate to wear clothes and accessories, but sara loves it. Here she is wearing a coat that I did to protect her from the cold.
9 years ago she was rescued from the street, with severe malnutrition and dehydration, she only was 4 months old, in her fur there were hundreds of black points that were fleas.
I will not lie to you, during her childhood she was horrible, her ears and snout were enormous hahaha
Although several people lived in my house, she always preferred my company and love.
At the beginning we thought of recovering her health and giving her up for adoption, but then we finally decided to adopt her (because of me), at that moment we only had a dog, a dove (also rescued from the street), fishes and two water turtles. The time passed and new members were added in the Feline family. His name was Simba who immediately felt in love with Sara, but unfortunately she always rejected him.

Sara the Princess
Sara means princess in Persian, and of course she is one with her elegance and beautiful leafy fur.
Sara has a very particular personality
She is wild, violent and very strong while playing, although she do not do it intentionally she don’t control her sharp nails and it hurts a lot, she is not affectionate or plays with other cats, she prefers to play with ' 'her imaginary friend' 'with which she makes great jumps, runs and spins on the floor (and of course, she plays with her hairy tail too)
She attacks anyone who touches her for a long time, except me of course, because I am her mom and the only person she trust and respect.
The obsession
She spends most of her time observing me with her deep gaze as if there was something that she was trying to tell me or as if she were reading my mind, sometimes I think that possibly inside her cat's body lives an old love from my past life, or maybe she just do it because she admires her mom.
Yes, she is a princess, a princess who loves to eat, anything that crosses her path, she loves human food, loves to take soups, beans and even spinach, so tell me, do your cats also have those peculiar tastes?.
Do Cats hate water?
Sara loves to take a shower, she relaxes and gets happy every time she takes a shower, but unfortunately she has an enemy, the hair dryer, which she scratches with all her fury and hate damaging it several times.
Emergency Surgery?
Many years ago Sara almost die (tragedy music turning on), when she was 4 years she got a terrible infection called pyometra which can affect cats, dogs and many other mammalian animals once they have reached their sexual maturity and get older. Because of that reason she had an emergency surgery in which her reproductive organs were completely removed, since then in her belly she has a big scar , the veterinarian at that time said that maybe one more day in that situation and my cat would died, days before she just meowed me asking for love and licked a lot her intimate parts, That is why it is important to sterilize our pets because they can get sick with these kind of diseases. It is also recommended to sterilize our cats because when they are looking for a sexual partner they can destroy and piss our house, and in street they can get infected with sexually transmitted diseases from other cats.
The cats’s strength
Cats have a great vitality and strength, even though they are sick or have lived a strong surgery many times they never show symptoms of sadness, pain or discomfort, that is why we have to be attentive to their behavior and to the irregular signals that their small bodies can present.
Cats Vs Dogs
Many people hate cats. There is a lot of prejudice in our society in which some people relate cats with the devil, bad luck, sterility in women and many diseases. People also say that cats are treacherous, calculators and do not really love humans as dogs do.
Cats have personalities, just like dogs, humans and other animals
Although my cat is a little hostile with others, in my life and in my home I have met a lot of lovely, friendly, and sweet cats as adorable as dogs ( are you going to deny that you have never met a grumpy dog?).
Veterinary control
Yes cats can spread many diseases to humans as well as dogs, birds and other humans can do it, it is important to know that there are diseases that only affect felines which are unable to affect humans, it is up to each person to keep their cat under veterinary control and in a healthy environment, provide healthy food and sterilize to prevent it from get diseases on the street in their searches for romance. It would be very irresponsible to adopt a pet without giving him the respective care, vaccines and medical controls, do not you think so?
If we introduce a rescued cat from street to our house the first thing we must do is take it to the veterinarian to verify that they are healthy, the veterinarian should do all necesaries studies to verify that they are not infected with any microorganism which can affects us or other pets in our houses.
All living beings on this planet deserve to live, remember that we do not live alone here and this planet does not only belong to us.
With our big cities, urbanisms, industries and pollution we have displaced many species from their natural environment, the least we can do is love, take care and respect them, remembering that there is no species on this planet that causes more damage than humans.
