Epiphany
The feast of Epiphany, or Epiphany. It is dedicated to the baptism of Jesus Christ by John the Baptist in the Jordan River.
This holiday is celebrated in honor of the baptism of Jesus Christ in the Jordan River. The word "baptizing" literally translated from Greek means "plunge into the water." Baptized Christ the prophet John, immediately recognized in him the Savior, expected by the Jewish people.
When Jesus came out of the water, a holy spirit descended upon him in the form of a dove, and a voice from heaven testified of him as a son of God.
After his baptism, Jesus Christ, led by the Spirit, retired to the wilderness in order to prepare himself for solitude, prayer and fasting for the fulfillment of the mission with which he came to earth.

And also It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer's faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savoir, the believer's death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. It is a testimony to the believer's faith in the final resurrection of the dead.
