Into the Light

There are all kinds of things wrong with this image. It's technically flawed. The cheap lens I used (don't remember which) blew out into crazy flares when I shot it into the sun. That massive ray is caused by the cheap lens not being able to handle flare...But I kinda liked it so I kept it and converted it to B&W.

I did compose the image with the footprints in mind when I told my friend to walk ahead so I can juxtapose him into the sun with footprints leading to him.

It's one of the first images I've ever created using a very flawed Digital Camera back then, a Kodak 14n! I don't know if any of you can remember that Kodak once competed with Canon and Nikon for DSLR dominance and once led the Megapixel race with this camera at 14 Megapixels. They lost out eventually - this camera sucked at high ISO performance.
