🌺 Red flowers of Japanese Quince are good for everything 🌺 Like #MondayRed or #MonoMad #Macro #Challenges 🌺

Today I managed to take pictures of Japanese quince (Chaenomeles japonica)🌺 Its name comes from the Greek language where chainein means to divide (to open) and mélon means apple 🇬🇷🍎 It has beautiful intensely red flowers that bloom in the spring 🌺 The bush blooms very profusely and looks impressive 🌺 Fruits are showing in late autumn, they are light yellow, they smell good and can be eaten. They are suitable as an addition to tea (yum!), the basis of quince tincture or as a component of preserves, for example jam.

Do you like these flowers? 👍🌺 If you want to plant this shrub in the garden, I think that there should be no problems with its cultivation,it is even frostproof. I like it very much (photos and flowers too) and I decided that it would be perfect for #MondayRed proposed by @Kalemandra, as well as #MonoMad #Macro by @brumest.

Udało mi się dzisiaj zrobić zdjęcia pigwowca japońskiego (Chaenomeles japonica)🌺 Jego nazwa pochodzi z języka greckiego gdzie chainein oznacza dzielić (otwierać się) a mèlon znaczy jabłko 🇬🇷🍎Ma on piękne intensywnie czerwone kwiaty, które kwitną właśnie na wiosne 🌺 Krzew kwitnie bardzo obficie i wygląda efektownie 🌺 Owocuje późną jesienią, jego owoce są jasno żółte, ładnie pachną i można je jeść. Nadają się jako dodatek do herbaty (mniam!), podstawa nalewki pigwowej lub jako składnik przetworów na przykład dżemu.

Czy podobają Wam się kwiaty? 👍🌺 Jeżeli chcecie zasadzić ten krzew w ogrodzie, myślę że nie powinno być problemów z jego uprawą, a do tego jest mrozoodporny. Mi podoba się bardzo i uznałam że w sam raz nada się na #MondayRed zaproponowany przez @Kalemandra, a także #MonoMad #Macro by @brumest.
