C'mon Spring!

It's been pretty cold here in Montreal, Canada the last couple of days. During the summer I like to take pictures of flowers. They're often natural Mandalas. They just make me happy, so I've been going through them looking forward to spring and summer. I'm not a great photographer, but sometimes nature and focusing technology combine and I get a pretty nice shot.

Last summer I spent an afternoon in Stanley Park when I was visiting family in Vancouver, Canada, and I got this picture of the center of a beautiful flower. It had rained a little overnight, so the petals are still a bit wet, and there's a bit of shadow/reflection going on from the seed stalks, that add a layer of contrast to the picture.
