A dragon's take on Bali ~ Part 2
To many Bali means masks, statues, carvings, dances, stories from the Ramayana, frangipani trees, their soft-spoken peoples, temples, beaches, sunsets... and more. Bali means different things to different people who take away different feelings & impressions about it!
I recently made a trip there and it was a revisit after many years; somehow I now see it with different eyes. Eyes that see through a camera's lens, always thinking how something will look once captured.
These are my impressions...

The Barong is a lion-like character in the middle of the Barong dance drama which features the eternal battle of good over evil.
The Barong is the good spirit that battles the witch queen, Rangda
Bedugul is a mountain lake resort, on Danau Bratan (Lake Bratan),
reputed to be one of the coldest places in Bali!
There is a whole mountain behind that temple that is hidden in the mist...

Love that first shot! So high and such pretty waves at the bottom...
That sight was breathtaking! Wonderful views.... left or right! :) We were so high up, but could still smell the sea salt and feel the spray as the waves were so strong...
Wooowww soo cool! It reminds me a bit of Cabo da Roca here. It is very high up too... and nothing but the ocean ahead :)
