Rainbow in Taiwan sky lasts 9 Hours, How Can?

This phenomenon managed to beat the record of the longest rainbow in the world recorded by the Guinness world record. The longest rainbow ever lasted for 6 hours adorned the skies of Wetherby, Yorkshire, England on March 14, 1994.
"This phenomenon is amazing, like a gift from heaven," said Chou Kun-hsuan, professor of the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at Chinese Culture University.
Professor Chou along with professor Liu Ching-huang documented this phenomenon assisted by his students.
From the video recordings, the rainbow phenomenon lasted from 6:57 to 15:55 local time.
"After four hours, we asked all students to help photograph and send us a photo of them," said professor Chou.
"After passing the previous record, I can not eat lunch, especially since the rainbow in Taiwan continues and lasted longer than 3 hours from the previous record," he continued.
Chou said, it has more than 10,000 images that capture this moment. This is what will be used as evidence and shown to Guinness to beat the previous record.
According to AccuWeather, the rainbow phenomenon generally occurs less than an hour.
