First morning in Roma
After we landed I didn't find anything particularly interesting to photograph at the airport, and the way to our host house we were surrounded by darkness - later I learned that the fields outside Rome are for growing food, so to me our host Rina house and street was Rome for that night, and I couldn't bother to take pictures.
So the first picture was of my brother, mother and Rina, on the balcony, as she explained to them what's what in the horizon
and what they were looking at
Later when we got ready to go out, Rina played us some tunes on the piano, any my brother took picture and posted to his IG
and here is him showing it to her
so with a song in our heart we went on our way to find The Vatican
We walked quite a bit before we found a kiosk that sells public transport tickets as that date was some kind of catholic holy day (something with Mary I think), and then we walked back 10 minutes to get back to the bus station we needed. This is the direction we were coming from:
And the direction we were heading
Bus arrived on we hopped on it
Unfortunately, we found out after few stops on the bus that we were heading the wrong direction :D So we took the bus back and drove to the Vatican, and that visit will be the content of my next post.
