Sommer Alm Region and Solistice

I did spend a weekend with Buddies on an alpine Hut located in the eastern part of Styria, near Weiz (St. Kathrein am Offenegg).
I first wanted to rent a hut to do a video for my upcoming EP, but decided to make it a relaxed weekend with friends too.
I did the video, a bit of hiking, and plenty of BBQ and beer ;)
Sommeralm literally translates to summer's alp, so it's quite a good place to be when Summer begins.

This is a view over the region. on the left side you see the Schöckl. This Mountain top is a favorite spot for people from around Graz for hiking. The view'S is direction is west.

As Solistice was this weekend, people did celebrate them with bonfire's, the "Sonnwendfeuer".
The bright shine in the middle is one of those fires. On the small picture you can see the same fire shortly after it got lit, close to sunset.
