Introduction | 简介

We have a railway station at Tanjong Pagar, Singapore, which had stopped operations for a number of years. Since after mid-2011 to be exact. The premise is closed but had been open only on public holidays for people to visit. One day, as I passed by, I decided to stop spend some time to take some photographs which I’m sharing in this post. It’s a good thing I did too and I’ll explain a little later.

我们在丹戎巴葛，新加坡，有个火车站已经关闭了好几年-自2011年中后。虽然关闭，但在公众假期有时候会打开让人们进去参观。有一天，当我经过的时候，我决定停止给一些时间来拍一些照片做点记录也好在这跟大家分享。这是不错的决定。我稍后会解释为什么。

Tanjong Pagar Railway Station | 丹戎巴葛火车站

The place is fenced up but I can still see the building from the side.

这个地方是围起来，但从旁边还能看见火车站。

Near the road, at the corner where the fence bends, there is this amazing old tree. I hope it remains.

栏杆在路边拐弯处有这课老树。我希望它会被保存。

So, you see this will be closed until 2025. Unless I find time on Christmas day to go do more “documentation”, I may not have another chance. Anyway, on Christmas day, I’m sure it will be swarmed with humans. Whether I’m one of them, I’ve not decided.
