Humans are funny creatures. We laugh at people panic buying. First, we joked about Hong Kong. Not long after, we started panic buying ourselves. No mask and hand sanitizers available but people were grabbing rice, instant noodles and toilet paper of all things. Not that people think they are going to be full of shit but I hearsay the raw materials for making toilet paper are used to make face mask too. I think there would probably be Koreans or Americans laughing at us Singaporeans panic buying. Come on, shop in Amazon. I heard Japan running out of toilet paper in some places too. Anyway, I was at the supermarket recently and they seem well stock other than no mask and hand santizers. No special offer price on the pile of rice. There were many people going to supermarket taking pictures of empty shelves before. I must be the only who take a picture like this and post on social media. 😎
