Went to an Intel workshop on last week Wednesday evening. It was held in the ballroom on the 35th floor of Mandarin Orchard Hotel.

I chose to sit at a table near the screen. Here are two photos taken at the same angle but with different focus.

After that, buffet dinner for free. They had beer before the event already.

I grabbed some food and later had some fruits and dessert. Enough food for all though there were about few hundreds people there.

Here is the door gifts I went home with. The paper bag design shoe bag is not very appealing to me nor my lady. Inside the little pouch was a 32GB Sandisk flash drive. That’s more interesting. They have copied some of their software inside.

We live in interesting times. Even technology companies are being disrupted. A few years ago, nobody would have associate Microsoft with open source. Now? Even Intel is going into software.

Was it free? Looked like decent food. All they could afford after the buffet was the paper bag lol
Yes, it's free and I'd say the food is more than decent.
The shoe bag choice design was bad decision. I think it made them looks cheap after all that.
