I went to M Hotel to attend a job fair recently. At the lobby, there was this bull sculpture. It is quite a nice one actually. Bit like the Wall Street bull I see on TV before. So, I took some pictures of it from different angles before I went up to the job fair.

Up to the floor where the job fair was held. Lots of people were there. It was a Monday afternoon which means a normal business day. This photo was taken not at the time when there was the most people. There are different companies and government bodies participating. I spoke to a few of them. All of them asked for a printed copy of my CV at this job fair that focused on IT role. Yes, go figure. A few of them tell they have this opening and that opening and you can go and apply online. Yes, that's the same as previous job fairs I've been too. Do you think the bull should be on this floor instead?

It's indoor but at the lobby floor.
So there'll still be some cleaning to do once a while.
Seems to make no sense to have a job fair to simply tell you to apply online!
Yet this is my experience to many and the experience of many to see such modus operandi.
It does look like the Wall Street bull. Maybe it was inspired by it. Do you reckon what's the purpose of that if there is one?
I did apply to one company before and I got the same experience. They asked me to apply online. I never did.
Don't know but here hotels and office building sometimes like to have some kind of art display as part of their identity.
