There is not a lot of natural countryside in Singapore. Even in the East Coast Park, arguably the most popular beach located in the east side Singapore comes from reclaimed land. However, that does not stop people from going there. I've not been there for a while and drove there for a walk and dinner a few Saturdays ago. Many trees are there, including this interesting old tree which I think is a banyan tree.

新加坡没有多少自然乡村了。即使东海岸，那在新加坡东部最受欢迎的海滩是填海来的。但是，这并没不阻止人们去那里。我也有一段时间没去过那里。就在几个星期六开车到了那里走走和吃晚餐。那里有许多树，包括这棵老树。应该是榕树吧。

So, it's a place of gathering for many people and many of them come with fully loaded picnic basket and spend many hours there. Outside the sea though, it's more of a gathering of marine vessesl waiting for their turn to come into the port to load or unload their cargo.

This place is where you can rent a bicycle but they get competition from the bike sharing service in recent years though they have different kind of cycles which you cannot get from the bike sharing server; they have dual riders bicycle and four wheelers kind which can sit 4 people. The sign says $10 for 3 hours. I think that's for the normal bicycle.
