Beautiful high rise building, yet the walkway leading to them was deserted with no one. So where is this place?

This was indeed a rare scene as this pathway leading to the city high rise is always filled with people. A very busy walking path as workers will use this to get to their offices. Then there are also walking tours on this Marina Bay organized by Travel Agencies. Lots of Tourists will also be walking along to enjoy the sceneries and sightseeing. Some will walk all the way to Marina Bay Sands Casino.

We managed to capture this during this rainy, gloomy weather when no one wanted to venture out and be caught in the rain. As can be seen from the dark skies and dark clouds on the photo, not many will use this pathway as they can walk underground or via the sheltered walk ways.

This is one of the most popular place that tourist will visit when they visit Singapore. MBS as known as Marina Bay Sands is a luxury Hotel that have the most beautiful pool on their 57 floor called the "Infinity Pool".

The entrance fee to this " Infinity Pool" is S$23.00 for Adult and Children (2-12 Years) is S$17.00. They do offer Senior Citizens (65 Years and above) at S$20.00.

When I first saw the Pool, i was alarmed as it looks like the water went over the edge and as if there was no safety wall. What if someone were to swim over and look over, would they fall over.?
I dare not swim in this pool as i was afraid of height and cannot imagine myself looking over the edge. I just dipped my feet and watch my daughter on the shallow end near the steps and within my reach. As we were staying at MBS Hotel, i did try to venture inner into the pool on the second day but not to the edge. Instead i took a lot of photos and walked around the Sky Park. As a hotel guest we do not need to pay, just use our room keys to enter but they limit to max 2 per entry. So when my friends came over and wanted to enter, we had to return to our room and let them have our keys to enter just for a walk around.

I found out later on that there is a net below, so it is actual safe but i did not check it out. But a lot of swimmers were at the edge and they did not look concerned. It was the effect by the water dropping over that created as if it is falling over. So this pool is playing us, with our eyes, seeing what we believed but it is actually not that dangerous.
