Travel and Caribbean Photography - Punta Cana - part 1 📷
The weather is warming, spring is here and beaches come to mind, so why not post about some of the best beaches I've visited! This was from a trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic a few years ago. This photo set, I've included a few of the awesome beach and water pics, which is where I spend most of my time on a caribbean vacations. I love swimming out to sea and snorkeling the reef waters as much as I can.

There were some impressive sand castle makers on the beaches each day we were there, this one in particular I thought was great.
The morning sun and ocean breeze, sets the stage for the day, another glorious hot blue sky sun bath. The beach here is great accually, since there is a log of shade from the palms both at the beach and at the pools.
Palms are the best as they provide shade, but really don't block the amazing views much at all.
Morning run down the beach a few miles I arrived at this cool point, beach and ocean 270 degrees around it, so an amazing view.
Sundon, the beaches again have a mass exidus, which is great for getting some nice photos again.
I love being able to just walk for miles along the coast and enjoying the sea, the wind and sand.
A couple miles away, this was a little fishing village with some great beach reastaurants and fishermen and boat taxis to negotiate with for their trips and food.
I don't know about you, but can you tell the direction the wind normally blows? The trees are a pretty good giveaway. Love this scene despite the camera washout, it definitely shows just how bright and sunny it is here.

You can certainly say that again. And I've been to the dominican twice now.
Great shots. We had one really warm day in the Netherlands a couple of weeks ago but since then it's just dreary. I miss the sun! This looks like a great place to be.

Pristine land, pure water, clean air and nice people, Carribean - a paradise on earth.
Its true for the beauty, unfortunately, the beaches need a lot of maintenance to keep them clean, as you leave the resort and see what a disaster of garbage humans actually produce on the shorelines. It saddens me.
