#Pic of day 2/19/2018
The forth day in Chinese New Year. I would like to introduce this traditional dish to everyone: crispy roasted pig, roasted duck, and roasted pork. One of my life long favorite! If you are visiting Hongkong / Guangdong area, definitely give it a shot!
大年初四。个人最爱的烧腊拼盘：烧肉，烧鹅，叉烧。家乡的味道就是不一样。

My study of the chinese especially during their festival shows that certain dishes are eaten during the Chinese New Year for their symbolic meaning.
Lucky food is served during the 16-day festival season, especially New Year's Eve, which is believed to bring good luck for the coming year.
The auspicious symbolism of these foods is based on their pronunciations or appearance.

Wow, you have all my favourite roast meats in one plate. I can see char siew, roasted duck, and roast pork. Do the have BBQ Pork Ribs and roasted Sausages as well.? Love every thing roast in Hong Kong.. This photo makes me want to make a trip to Hong Kong just to eat. Thanks for sharing

I love the roasted duck... When I was in Nanjing, I almost ate everyday duck meat that was prepared in different ways... Ohhh How much I miss PR of China...
