Play a traditional game always engrossing. Especially if the game is a tradition passed down through generations. In Aceh, there is the race main kite named Geulayang Tunang, usually after harvest.

For the traveler who passed her childhood with its traditional game, certainly no stranger to the kite. Yes, toys made of bamboo and paper oil is so attached to diingatan.

In Aceh there were kites specifically named Geulayang Tunang. Its shape resembles an airplane and sized large enough. Geulayang Tunang is already a tradition of kite games hereditary with the same name and is usually played after harvest.

But now, Tunang played Geulayang in order to welcome the big day and even contested. Rarely there are people playing this in a regular day kites.

I happen to enjoy Geulayang Tunang when in Lhokseumawe. Dozens of participants carried layangannya to contested. Winner is the highest position of kites and flying upright.

Seeing as the event was held at the seaside, an awful lot of kites are freefall into the sea because it is not capable of being controlled by players. It is becoming the most exciting because it is accompanied by the cheers of the audience. Exclamation point!
