ABOUT THE PHOTO

I found this neat little stream on the backroads of Montana while photographing the area around Butte for a local hotel. The sunset just absolutely blew up! Easily one of the top 10 sunsets I've seen. This is a 6 photo panoramic shot with Sony A7 and Rokinon 14mm, so it's ~180º view

Wow, that an impressive sunset indeed! <3 I love how the colors of the sun setting sky are reflecting in the water too, makes it a balanced picture.

I'm joining the #fixitfriday this week since I love editing pictures. Sunsets are a challenge - you can screw them up fast! So I kept my edit simple: enhance the 'fire' of the clouds and changed some color tones in the highlights and shadows.

I played a bit with the crop, but my favorite crop lost too much of the sky, so left that pretty much in tact too.

Thanks for sharing your picture for us to edit!
