Self-portrait - @photogames season 2, week 1
I am not a selfie guy, and i spend all of my (saying all i mean 1 :) ) creative-show yourself-about you- selfie shot a month ago (photo at the end of the post) and the rule of the game is "do it this week", i was thinking how can i show that the photo is made for this game.
Decided to go with a light writing.
Yes we will say that Selfi is written in Serbian (no i did not forgot how to write selfie :) )

- For the light writing i used a small led light
- The main lights were two Yongnuo manual flashes.
Test of the light and framing.
Camera was on a tripod, triggered with a wireless trigger with camera on a bulb mode.
Flashes were triggered manually by a wireless trigger in my pocket.
So i went to the wall and clicked the trigger, then i started to write photogames and selfi with a led light, then i moved to the right, got the trigger for the flashes, strike this great pose :) clicked the flash trigger, got blind for a second, stopped the exposure and the photo is made. (well not really from the first take, more like 10 :) )
All this was done in 55 seconds (i thought i will need a longer time)
one photo where i tried to make a triple exposure, flash on the beginning of the writing, flash on the end of writing "photogames" and one for the pose, but it was to bright so i got lost in the photo.
And to share a photo promised on the beginning of the post, that i did a month ago. The story of the photo is In My Mind and that is exactly what is going in it all the time :D

Just photoshopping the light-writing in would have been so much easier ;)
But nice post, never knew how to do such a thing! And awesome wall!!
It is easier but where is the fun and art in that. It's beautiful to create art straight from the camera with no alterations!
thinking about it, i think this is easier :) i lost my pen light (it was a smaller led light, and you really had a feeling like it was on the wall, this is not that great)
It is fun when you get the feeling for the space, as you have no idea where you already passed with it. It is a pity i don't have any painting knowledge i wanted to do something harder then letters :)

you have no idea :) when i see the camera on me, this is my go to face :D
I'm not talking about your face... but while we're at it. You could draw a smiley face over your go to face :P
i will save this idea for the next one :D
I think the same. Just writing it with the Led is kinda easier and more fun than just Photoshop it, even if it takes many tries. Let me say awesome wall too 😁
maybe is the photoshop skills and maybe is just a fun of knowing that everything was done in camera, but i do like to try doing whatever i can in one exposure. wanted to write something about the wall but @r00sj3 would use it against me somehow in the week 3 of the games so for now, no info about the wall :D

Fan of your first selfie since you posted it the first time and now too. And light paiting is really fun and HARD! Specially when you have to do EVERYTHING, pose, take the photo, paint, be the
assistant, model and producer. You came out with a pretty awesome photo! Good job.

I sometimes love to do all by myself especially when there is a need for repetition, because many people think you just need to click a button and voila photo is done. And steemit reminded me about my love for light painting and long exposures.
