The return

YES I am back. Well this doesn't mean i was ever gone. Lately I didn't post a lot - and the reason was the weather was just not right. I was waiting for spring colors and guess what, it was worth the wait. I visited this amazing waterfall with such a beautiful green colors and i was there at the right time because i was able to catch some sun aswell.

Whenever i go on a photographing trip i plan multiple locations. This one was first because it didn't matter when i come. Waterfall is really well hidden from the sun so i was able to use polarizator and ND filter was not needed because it was dark enough. Ofcourse when i got here i saw this composition just at the begining, i didn't even have to go near it and got amazing photo ! But ofcourse i tried some different angles and composition aswell. So it took me longer than i was planing on this location so sadly i missed sunset. But I was still happy because i got this photo.

Learn from my mistakes

BUT - overall this photo looks amazing, i had to post it even tho i am very selective about my posts, i will tell you where my mistake was made here, but i am very happy this happend so next time it won't happen again. And it was a great example for you guys on what you should always watch when you photograph waterfalls ! If you look at the greens in foreground they are really blurry, they are not sharp at all ! This was my mistake because i used same shutter speed for foreground and waterfall. Ofcourse for waterfall you need longer shutter like 1-2 seconds but if you do the same on foreground where you have moving object during this time they will move because of wind. I didn't think of that because of my excitment of this beautiful location. But i will definetly have this mistake in my head for the next time ! Hopefully you aswell.
