That's exactly how I looked at the whole experience! haha Not the best person, but at least I got to see beautiful places and take all the photos I wanted. Couldn't have asked for much more, really.

Creepy quiet spots can be the real gems of a city sometimes, though like you say, great company is key. You don't want to end up regretting your decision on minute one of being there! lol
