These are great, love the ones at night time, amazing experience, thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much! Yeah, it was a really great outing :) The sad thing is that the fog that appears in some of the night shots only lasted about 10 minutes and I couldn't move fast enough to the next subject. Oh well, maybe next time :)

Awww that's a shame! The fog really adds some atmosphere, but you got the shot so its fine, completely worth it! It does look cold though!

Yeah it was a bit cold (-14 degrees) but we moved a lot so we didn't feel it :)

Wow yeah just a bit cold!! As long as you were moving like you said I guess that's ok!

Nice work! I love the 4th photo from the bottom! The one with the 3fences framed with snow. So quiet and minimal.

Thank you so much!

Nice place, photos and story :)

Great post! Always enjoy getting to see life outside of what we're used to. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much! Last year I got a little lazy and didn't go out as much as I did before but this year I plan to make some changes and escape in nature every chance I get :)

Sounds like a great outing. Lovely that you had a little abode to spend the night. Tent camping in negative temps can be very tricky. Is that area abandoned? Some very nice shots. I do like the black and white photography.

Thank you so much! I spent a night in a tent 2 years ago and got pneumonia. The area is populated only from spring till autumn. In the winter there are maybe one or two people who live there. Most of them lock their homes but there are some who leave the keys (like the one we stayed). We searched the area and found two more. One is in really good shape and the other looks abandoned, leaky roof, missing windows etc.

I had a one dog night many years ago while camping in -40 full moon, chrystal clear night. The stars were awesome, and it was so cold, it was difficult to get a fire going even with pitch. The fire burned down 4' into the snow by morning. I stuffed my german sheppard into my bag several times that night.

Now that's what I call a real adventure! I think I would've died that night haha

I finally made my move out of the tent about daylight. I could see sun on the mt. up the trail. I broke camp and headed for the sun. My toes were so cold. I sat on my pack in the sun, took my boots and socks off and sunned them warm again. I was glad there was a hotsprings just 17 miles up the road. The ski was great, the water was awesome. I spent the night there in a cabin and skied on into town (29 miles) the next day.

Woow :) You should do a post about that!

maybe someday. :)

Looks cold and beautiful, nice photos, well done, thank you for sharing😀👍🏻
