Wczoraj wróciłem z ferii, które spędzałem nad morzem. Między innymi byłem w Orłowie, zobaczyć nadmorski klif. Moją uwagę przykuł jednak opuszczony budynek górujący nad orłowską plażą. Wybrałem się tam więc i zrobiłem zdjęcia.

Yesterday I came back from winter break I spent by the Baltic's seaside. I've been, among others in Gdynia Orłowo to see the cliff there. My attention caught abandoned building towering over the beach. I went there and took pictures.
Dom Profilaktyczno-Wypoczynkowy "Zdrowie" | "Health" Resort
PL: Dom Profilaktyczno-Wypoczynkowy "Zdrowie" w czasach swojej świetności posiadał 160 miejsc noclegowych, w pokojach 1, 2, 3 i 4-osobowych oraz apartamentach. Mieściła się tutaj również sala konferencyjna mieszcząca 30-40 os., oraz sala restauracyjna na ok. 100 osób. Dom oferował również usługi zatrudnionego na stałe masażysty. Organizowano turnusy rehabilitacyjne, odchudzające i rekreacyjne. Wciąż działa strona internetowa ośrodku.
EN: The "Health" Resort in the times of its splendor had 160 places available for accomodation, in 1 to 4 bed rooms, including apartments. There was a conference room and the restaurant. Resort provided massage services. Offered rehabilitation, weight-loss and recreational stays. Their page is still running.

PL: Nie planowałem wchodzić na teren sanatorium, jednak zauważyłem, że ogrodzenie było przewrócone. Cały budynek jest pokryty graffiti, wszystkie okna są wybite. Zwiedzając opustoszone wnętrza spotkałem dwie dziewczyny, które przyszły tu również pozwiedzać. Jak dowiedziałem się później, teren byłego domu profilaktyczno-wypoczynkowego często nawiedzają bezdomni i narkomani. Okoliczni mieszkańcy skarżą się na hałasy dochodzące z budynku, zdarzają się podpalenia, często interweniuje policja.
EN: I wasn't planning to enter the resort's area, but the fence was knocked over. The building is covered in graffiti, all windows are broken. Exploring the place I met two girls being there for the same reason. As I found out later, homeless people and junkies hang out in the former resort. The police is often called by the neighbours because of noise and cases of arson.
PL: Pokoje na pierwszym piętrze. Widoki mnie urzekły, choć w lecie większość morza zasłaniały pewnie liście drzew.
EN: Rooms on the 1st floor. The view is probably obstructed by the leaves in the summer.

Taras na trzecim piętrze. Nawet w obecnym stanie robi wrażenie.

PL: Dni Domu Profilaktyczno-Wypoczynkowego "Zdrowie" są już policzone. Położony jest na osuwającej się skarpie, planowane jest jego wyburzenie, aby zrobić miejsce dla nowoczesnego hotelu. Póki co jednak stoi. Więc jeśli będziecie w Gdyni i lubicie takie klimaty - Na Zdrowie!
EN: The days of the "Health" Resort are numbered. It is located on slipping slope and soon to be demolished to make the room for the new hotel. Until then it's still standing. If you find yourself in Gdynia, and you like abandoned stuff, do visit the place. It's quite interesting.
