Magic Monday - Pednvounder Dawn
Today I want to show you a magic moment from Cornwall. I have visited this beautiful part of the UK three times now, and the spectacular coastline never ceases to amaze me.
On our last visit back in May 2016, most of the week the coast was shrouded in fog though. It was a bit frustrating, knowing those great views but not being able to see or photograph them.
One view that had already eluded me on my previous visits was that of Pednvounder beach. From Porthcurno there's a nice coastal walk leading along the cliffs to this secluded cove. And there's an awesome view from the top of the cliffs looking down at it.
So after a week of grey skies, rain and fog I went out once more for sunrise, hoping for a change in the weather. And I was lucky. As I walked through the darkness I could already see a soft glow building up in the eastern sky. The mist was gone and I could finally see the wonderful coastline again.
What's special about the Cornish coast is the abundance of coastal flowers, which you encounter in spring. There were lots of them at the viewpoint and I tried to include them in the composition. It looked a bit like a garden on top of the cliffs.

Is it possible to go to small beach where seems in the shot?
yea there's a trail leading down to this beach, some minor climbing is involved, but easy to manage.
