One of the few towns in Germany that we went to during the tour was Tubingen.
Seine played there in a great squat run by student activists and it was a part of the festival against Amazon coming to the town. I'm sorry but I don't have any photos of the squat because we were tired when we got there and drunk when we got back there to sleep.
The only photo I have from there was Ivan's portrait while having a breakfast :)

But the next morning I stormed out and took a lot of photographs of the town before leaving!
But ok first a bit about the history of the town.

Tübingen is one of Germany's oldest towns historically and one of Germany's youngest town, because majority of population are students.
The university has been a significant part of history of Tübingen because it was one of the first towns in Germany that had universities during the Renaissance. Significant minds that lived in Tubingen includes Romantic poet Friedrich Hölderlin and neurologist Alois Alzheimer.

This is one of the most beautiful views - the Neckar riverfront which is seamed with colourful houses and the distinctive Hölderlinturm tower and just across is a little park (the last picture in this row)
