Currawong in the Cradle
A Currawong nestled in the cradle of Cradle Mountain. I saw it fly to this tree and couldn't pass up the opportunity to position myself to get this shot. I took quite a few shots but this one was my favourite with the head turned back and the yellow eye in the sunlight.

They also are getting fat at Cradle Mountain because of the tourists

The car park is adjacent to Dove Lake. And it's 5-10min walk to the famous boatshed
