A Different View of Knyvet Falls

in #photofeed6 years ago

Here is there more typical shot of Knyvet Falls compared to the view in my previous post. The location where I took the shot before is just to the right of the main part of the waterfall, behind the trees. Interestingly, the settings are almost exactly the same.

Cool to see multiple perspectives! Also, that orange in the water is poppin'! Do you know what causes that color?

Sorry, just copying and pasting from Google

tannin
ˈtanɪn
noun
a yellowish or brownish bitter-tasting organic substance present in some galls, barks, and other plant tissues, consisting of derivatives of gallic acid.

Tannins are a natural organic material that can be the byproducts of nature's fermentation process, be created as water passes through peaty soil and decaying vegetation. This can cause water to have a faint yellow to tea-like color, and can cause yellow staining on fabrics, fixtures, china and laundry.

Huh, interesting! Thanks for the Google facts ;)

Oh my goodness! What a PRETTY shot!
