Sunburst Falls, Autumn - Photography [Aerial Top-Down]
They say the fall colors aren't going to be that great this year; it's been unusually warm in all fall in the Southern Appalachians. The leaves are expected to drop quickly rather than linger on the branches as they turn. So far that theory appears to be correct. Our higher elevation trees are completely barren, leaves have fallen; the lower elevations have yet to turn, and this halfway-up 4000 Ft or so elevation scene is about the best example of the middle of the progress spectrum.
