Living here in Patagonia I could probably make a book of people's camper vans and "homes on the road". I saw this old van a few days ago, with the occupants still sound asleep.

Nice! So cool. What are the rules for van camping in Patagonia? Is it free range camping or only in certain areas?
Technically in the national parks it's not allowable, and from what I've heard they clamp down on it pretty good. But it is a very common thing to do here, and you'll often see camper vans parked on city streets or in small pullouts along the road. So far it seems pretty acceptable.
Gotcha, always interesting to hear how different countries handle that sort of thing!
