It is feeling very like November today here in Idaho. I've been outside working ⚒ on the property, getting ready for winter which feels very imenent on a day like this. I've taken down the sprinklers and hoses from the garden and drained them, preparing for freezing weather and snow.
A day like this makes me want to stay inside and drink a lot of coffee ☕. Speaking of that, I might head in and make a pour over right now.

Very true. I is something I never appreciated before moving to Canada as our winters in Australia were much like the summers here ;-)
I've always lived in areas that have cold snowy winters, so it's just an annual preparation each fall. :)
It is amazing how different how things are around the world. But we would have an annual preparation for summer and backburn and clear back undergrowth in preparation for the bushfire season.
