Thank you, Lynn - it's ALWAYS good to meet people who love birds as much as I do! I love all of nature, of course, but birds are just so very dear to my heart. It sounds like Henrietta and Sunny would have gotten along!

And yes, my Raven has always been unschooled, which is one of the BEST decisions I have ever made. It's a wonderful gift to give a child, that absence of coercion and pressure and the joy of discovering their own interests in their own good time...
