SUNSET WHEREVER YOU ARE AT... Stop 1 of our weekend adventure (6 pics)

@caseygrimley invited me to go back to the sawtooth mountains in idaho which is about a 5-6hr drive. We spent much of Saturday driving and ended up being in some random farm land around sunset.

THE SUN AS THE SUBJECT

So we made the best of it.
I had the 150-600mm so i got some close up shots and tried a few different exposures.

BRING YOUR OWN SUBJECT

Lacking a really ideal foreground since we were basically just in the driveway of a farm or something like that I pulled the truth around in front of the scene.

THE LAND AS THE SUBJECT

Here are a couple shots of where we were at.
It really was just land like anywhere else on the drive but it was a fun time being creative and making the stop work.

Keep in mind there have been TONS of wildfires all throughout the west of the US... likely a lot of this smoke is coming all the way from California and Oregon.

Obviously gotta show off @caseygrimley running around with his Sony to get some different pictures.
